OBSESSED with this LOBSTER bar!!! ⬇️
This bar is an awesome collab and for sure the most unusual and unique bar I’ve tasted! @david.upchurch + @chocolatasm Cape Cod bar- a lobster dinner in a white chocolate bar!
Okay I know it sounds CRAZY but hear me out! This passion project was inspired by the iconic lobster dinner of Cape Cod- buttery, salty, unctuous, with zips of lemon and parsley.
The first sense in the mouth is BUTTERY- it melts so quickly and reminds one of the generous golden pools of melted butter that accompany a lobster tail meal. Salt is a big player- this bar is salty rather than sweet, which adds to its uniqueness. As your mouth is doing a double take with the salty buttery melt, the parsley pipes up followed by faint lemon. There actually IS lobster powder in this bar, but it is the faintest hint in the background. I love that this bar evokes the idea of a creamy indulgent lobster feast without smacking you in the face with the overtly obvious.
It’s SO moorish, I just want to keep eating it! I believe it’s still available in the Bay Area and Cape Cod, follow David and Paul for more info. This bar is a TREASURE! 🦞
