It’s #mothersday and I want to share a bar from my chocolate shelf that is a favorite of both my mom and I. It has flowers in it too, so that seems perfect for Mother’s Day!

This bar is a treat before the chocolate even hits your mouth: it’s beautifully molded and lovingly packaged.
The sweetness of milk chocolate is a great balance for the strong flavors of piney floral lavender and licorice-y anise. The star players are prominent but not overdone. There’s a bit of texture in the tasting journey with little candied bits of flower, but it’s not disruptive nor is the bar overly sweet.
A great bar for moms (or anyone) with an adventurous palate. ❤️🍫💐
