Today is September 1, Labor Day in the US: the unofficial/official end of summer. People celebrate with their final BBQs and beach parties before turning to their attention to sweaters and pumpkins.
To me this cardamom marshmallow perfectly captures that transition from summer to fall- the fluffy joyful marshmallow evoking summer s’mores memories, and the cozy piney cardamom evoking spiced treats and beverages for colder months ahead.
