The beautiful package illustration is giving winter, but those Haitian beans are giving the coziness inside the ski lodge!
Nose: Mild tropical fruits, soft pine.
The taste starts with fudge, then pear (it was so unmistakable 🍐 on my first tasting!), rounded gentle spices and soft caramel notes. The most gentle subtle tartness on the end. Incredibly smooth, balanced, mild. A delight.
The beans in this bar are traceable via the QR code on the back to @uncommoncacao ‘s partnership with the PISA fermentory in Haiti. This bar has won several International Chocolate awards, including Americas Gold in 2016 and Silver in 2019.
