Happy Thanksgiving from my chocolate bookshelf! In giving thanks this year I definitely reflected on the joy of chocolate in my life, including:
π΅ Being able to afford the higher prices of artisan and craft chocolate.
π
My sense of taste and smell being intact so I can enjoy the nuanced tastes of terrior.
π Living in a large cosmopolitan city where I can easily obtain fine craft chocolate (@delaurentifoodandwine )
π« Gratitude for the many small craft chocolate makers that pour time/money/energy/heart into making fantastic products.
β€οΈβπ©Ή Making a living wage and having all my needs met- much of our inexpensive chocolate comes from regions where farmers are trapped in poverty and donβt make a living wage.
βοΈGratitude for chocolate makers like @tonyschocolonely_us who are working towards slave free chocolate.
Does chocolate come up on your radar when you practice gratitude? Iβd love to hear about what chocolate youβre grateful for below! ππ»
