Inca Crunch 65% by Casa de Chocolates

Inca Crunch 65% by @casadechocolates

You can’t help but chew this one- it’s in the title! The toasty texture of the puffed quinoa (for #tttt_q) gives way to delightful creamy and nutty flavor of the chocolate. It’s almost like a “peanut butter crunch” bar! Very moorish.

Casa de Chocolates is a beloved Bay Area (Berkeley) shop dedicated to celebrating the indigenous Mesoamerican heritage & culture of cacao. They make wonderful flavored confections (truffles/bon bons) as well as house made inclusion bars and traditional desserts.

They are working towards processing bean-to-bar; right now the Inca Crunch bar is made from Ecuador-origin Cocoa mass from Republica de Cacao.
