My favorite part about this week’s chocolate tasting was picking a unique custom bar for each participant. I made a short survey to find out their tastes, and then used that to pick out a bar I thought they would like. There’s just something so special about that moment of anticipation and discovery when you unwrap a gourmet chocolate bar. The beautiful packaging, the moulding, taking in the first impression- that chocolatey smell! I wanted everyone to be able to have that experience. At the end of the tasting, I had everyone unwrap their individual bar, taste, and share their impression with the group. It was such a delight to see their surprise and enjoyment!
