Local Feature!
Intrigue Chocolate @intrigue_chocolate_co in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood since 2006, is a quiet but well established member of Seattle’s Chocolate scene. I came here once years ago (when my chocolate obsession was still in its infancy) so I was long overdue for another visit.
They play with so many fun flavors and have grown beyond their signature square truffles to include a wide range of bars and drinks, and even single origin bars!
They’re very friendly and welcoming, and will help you taste some samples if you’re not sure what you’re looking for.
They don’t roast beans on location since the building is very old and historic, but they melt and craft their confections there. The old brick adds a lot of charm to their location; go give them a visit and maybe even take a nearby tour of Seattle’s ‘buried’ underground tunnels to soak in the history of the neighborhood!
