So creamy-chocolatey, nutty, and smooth, with gentle hints of berries as flavor development continues.
I DEFINITELY need to buy more of this bar!
The song playing here (Oh Contraire by The Noble Manes @thenoblemanes) is the upbeat pairing for the powerhouse flavors in this bar! As a plus, head chocolate maker (and musician!) Aaron purposefully highlights local Seattle artists with his chocolate-music pairings. 🙌
The second bar is their 80% dark Peru:
Smells rich and inviting;
Starts off with a strong winey raisin note, then a powerful tartness opens up. It finishes a bit drier than I’d like but not aggressively astringent.
I’m going to be picking up some more bars from Cocoa Legato in a few weeks when I visit Seattle! 💚🍫🎶
