This one was love-at-first-taste at last fall’s NW Chocolate Festival! After trying several of their bars this one jumped out to me as an immediate ‘Yes!’
The nose is incredibly floral, the point of hardly having chocolate aroma. Hints of neroli, jasmine and sweet nuts invite you in.
The taste opens slowly: rich, comforting, buttery. There’s a pale bitterness but then those floral notes drift past, serenading you into sweet bliss. The finish fades out, mellow and mild.
I’ve changed people’s minds about dark chocolate with this bar!
