Ritual’s July bar of the month: S’mores.
First of all, something conspicuous is missing (can you guess what it is?).

S’mores are genius and simple. Only three ingredients, that interplay perfectly. Take any one of them away and it’s not s’mores anymore. So I really struggle with the absence of marshmallow in this bar. They’ve added caramelized sugar but it’s not the same; for me it’s not enough. I barely taste it. The graham cracker crumbles don’t make themselves much known to my palate either.

I also notice that the base chocolate they’ve chosen is a very citrusy one. Might it enhance the overall s’mores taste experience to choose an origin with smokey flavors?
