São Tomé 70% Dark by @letterpresschocolate
Part of a final batch of Letterpress I ordered this past spring.
Nose is coy, low-key only giving away hints of chocolate and fruit.
The taste opens up with tart raspberries and toasted Brazil nuts. The initial burst of tartness smooths into the cozy nuttiness and then a very rounded pleasant sweet finish laced with fresh tropical fruits. My husband swears he tasted raisins on the finish!
The maker notes suggest “peanut butter cup”- with my added taste of fruit, does that make it a PB&J bar? 😉
