Pleasant nose of light fruitiness.
A sweet buttery opening, a muted gentle tartness, quiet woody hints. The finish reminds me of smooth, dark chocolate-covered cherries.
Bisou is a small bean-to-bar chocolate maker (self-described “micro manufacturer) in Berkeley CA. This bar is from their “Silk” line meaning there’s added cocoa butter for enhanced mouthfeel. They make bars as well as truffles and confections. Their design style is vintage Art Nouveau, and they specialize in vegan/dairy free offerings.
Fun observation for today’s #tttt_u – posting theme: the bean origin starts with U, and the chocolate maker’s name ends in U. 😎
